4-year vision regarding the educational component in the destination
Our vision is to cultivate a spirit of unity and involvement in the local community, engaging teachers and principal trainers to inspire young people to become defenders of the natural and cultural wealth of the Tara Dornelor ecotourism destination. By 2027, we see Tara Dornelor as an outstanding model of education for sustainability and community engagement, where young people are prepared to carry forward local traditions and values with passion and responsibility, thus contributing to sustainable economic development and job creation local.
The strategic objectives of the development and implementation of the educational component in the ecotourism destination
1. Contribution to the creation and implementation of the optional course “Landscape Education” in 8 secondary schools in the ecotourism destination țara Dornelor for at least 300 students from the 5th and 6th grades.
2. Obtaining the commitment of the Suceava School Inspectorate and at least 8 of the 14 schools in Tara Dornelor to support and implement the landscape education program for a period of at least 5 years.
3. The development and implementation of an integrated education plan for eco-destination in all 13 secondary schools in Tara Dornelor, which includes both support for the formal part and non-formal programs, which ensure continuity of the project.
4. Developing a solid partnership with the Administration of the Călimani National Park to promote the non-formal education of young people in Tara Dornelor and become a reference actor in long-term education.
5. Creating a model of community involvement in the development of young people in the spirit of knowledge and promotion of local values, so that they become more involved in the life of the community in the future.
