Cocosul de Munte Pension & Tree House

A serene place.

Situated in the picturesque area of Tara Dornelor, at the foot of Calimani Mountains, Cocosul de Munte Pension and Tree House lift your mood and make you rejoice with the calmness of the natural surroundings. The two locations offer a total number of 11 cosy and comfortable places for you, your family and friends. In addition, there are many nature-related activities uncovering nature and the beauty of mountain living. Such as hiking in Calimani National Park, to the Visitors’ Center of Calimani National Park or on the thematic trails in Tara Dornelor.

For an adrenaline rush, you may choose to learn horseback riding at Domeniul Cailor Bucovina, in the neighbouring village, or a boat ride on Bistrita Aurie River to Zugreni Gorges. In winter, you can go slow horse sleigh riding or, if properly trained, ski touring with a guide or alpine skiing on any of the five ski slopes of the ecotourism destination in Vatra Dornei, Ciocanesti or Mestecanis.

Cocosul de Munte Pension

🛌 Capacity: 14 adults and 2 children in 7 rooms

✔️ Facilities:

at the ground floor, there is a spacious living room, with TV, dining area, fully equipped kitchen for the use of the guests, half bathroom;
on the first floor, there are 3 rooms with ensuite bathroom, TV, large hallway leading on the terrace;
on the second floor, in the loft, there are another 3 rooms with ensuite bathroom and TV, plus another room with ensuite bathroom, entering from the hallway. This hallway is also large and leading on the terrace;
outside, there is a spacious green courtyard, a parking and a gazebo with grill; a playground for children, a playhouse with toys, a slide and a trampoline.

🔆 Special:

On request, guests can enjoy an indulgent salt water bath in the outdoor wooden hot tub, at an extra charge.

Tree House

🛌 Capacity: 8 adults and 8 children in 4 rooms

✔️ Facilities:

4 double rooms, family style, each with a double king-size bed, TV, ensuite bathroom and a mezzanine – a high terrace above the bathroom with a double king-size bed;
large living room with equipped kitchen and a dining area;
outside, guest can enjoy the large green patch, the gazebo with grill and the children’s playground with a trampoline, a slide and a playhouse with toys.

🔆 Special:

The tree house is settled at the shadow of fir trees, on spruce logs, at 3 m height from the ground and it is a new building in rustic design style, made of wood and eco materials.

On request, guests can enjoy an indulgent salt water bath in the outdoor wooden hot tub, at an extra charge.
