A high-altitude vacation
The Telescaun Tourist Complex in Vatra Dornei is one of the first places chosen by tourists for their vacation in Tara Dornelor. It offers a cosy stay, chairlift rides, horseback rides, a ski slope and a tubing slope. The Tourist Complex, which accommodates guests, is situated at the end of the chairlift line, at an altitude of 1,300 meters, on Dealul Negru Plateau in town. From up here, you see the world from a different perspective and admire the peacefulness of the spectacular scenery, including Rodnei and Calimani Mountains’ peaks. As well as the entire Dorna Depression, known for its fresh air and forever green nature. In addition, the flavourful meals, made of local products and the nights spent with friends by the campfire would make anyone happy.

- restaurant with terrace;
- tourist sheep farm, where traditional dishes are prepared (only on advance request);
- tubing slope and ski slope for beginners and advanced skiers, sleigh slope and other recreational activities, such as horseback riding, hiking, forest berries picking;
- tent camping is also possible.
🔆 Special: since August 2020, an entire log villa with a maximum capacity of 6 people is for rent.

The Telescaun Cabin can be reached by chairlift from Negresti Street in Vatra Dornei. The chairlift is open from Monday to Sunday between 10:00 – 16:30. In case you want to come by car, there is parking by the chairlift station.
🛌 Capacity: 40 places in 10 rooms/rooms with ensuite bathrooms with shower, TV and central heating; maximum 30 places in 5 cabins
