Montana Lodge, situated only 5 minutes from Vatra Dornei and Nordic Vila, at 15 minutes from town, are two of the accommodation units in Tara Dornelor awaiting you to rest and relax. Taking a bath in the wooden hot tub at Montana Lodge or having a barbecue at Nordic Vila, admiring nature’s green is a perfect choice no matter the season. And since they are situated in the tourist destination’s rural side, the two locations become the ideal starting points for the surrounding mountain trails, especially in Calimani Mountains, the youngest and highest volcanic mountains in Romania. Moreover, one may take horseback riding lessons at Domeniul Cailor Bucovina, near Montana Lodge in Dorna Arini. Or go on a boat ride adventure down Bistrita Aurie River, which passes through the SE side of the destination, up to Zugreni Gorges, offering a charming view.

🔆 Special:

On request, the hosts of Dorna Escape Estate may help you try different ecotourism activities in Tara Dornelor, such as guided tours on mountain trails in Calimani, Suhard, Giumalau or Bistritei Mountains; a visit to the Visitors’ Center of Calimani National Park or the local peat bogs; horseback riding.

Furthermore, on a 24-hour advance request, traditional meals may be supplied, such as: chicken breast with mushroom velouté, traditional pork or chicken mix speciality, stuffed cabbage rolls with bacon and polenta, fried trout with polenta and aioli, cheese doughnuts with cream and jam, pancakes filled with cottage cheese and covered in cream.  

The wooden hot tub at Montana Lodge can be used at an extra charge of 250 RON for 2 days. It is negotiable for any number of days, but it is not to be rented for just one night.
